With every step of the bride being documented and uploaded on the social media the brides of today are in more pressure than ever to look perfect on not just their D-Day but for all the other ceremonies.

And though this can be exhausting and frustrating at times but it is definitely not an impossible task altogether.

Here in this blog, I have tried to pen down certain bridal attires that are definitely drool worthy and will sweep you off your feet.

The WHITE GODDESS

Who doesn’t want to look a flamboyant white goddess on her wedding day?It is playing on the idea of fairy tales, and the moment where dreams meet reality.

These heavily embellished crystal, zari and motif works are nothing less than a dream dress.Simple yet dramatic. Isn’t it?

GO HEAVY ON THE DUPATTA AND CHOLI

Dupatta has always been both important and symbolic in a bridal attire. The dupatta has long been a symbol of modesty in dress from the Indian subcontinent as its main purpose is as a veil.

But more often than not we find that the bridal dupattas are not so extravagant when it comes to their work and intricacy.

However, this year the bridal attires were given a new dimension with minimizing the work on the lehenga and going over the top with the dupatta.

GO GREEN!

Such a beauty!

This dress is such a show stopper in itself that it would be impossible for anyone to take their eyes off.

Possibly one of the best bridal attire inspiration you will come across.

Love the emerald green shirt with gold dabka, nakshi, beads and sequin hand work along with the cut work on the shirt and drop stone finishing on the sleeves and the bottle green lehenga with gota booti chan. The delicate border on the organza dupatta compliments the heavily embellished dress very well giving it such a beautiful touch of class and royalty.

THE FAVOURED COLOUR.

Can you ever go wrong with this colour?NO!

Red has always been a symbolic colour when it comes to choosing from the colour palette for the bride.Brides are generally asked to wear red during the wedding proceedings since it stands for prosperity and fertility.

And without a doubt no bride has ever not looked ravishing when in this colour.

This deep red bridal gown with worked bodice and fully embellished sleeves, gold mesh handwork on shirt bodice and floral patterned embroidery of tilla, beads and stones and the rust orange net dupatta with embellished floral borders on all four sides is nothing less than a vision.

The ULTIMATE COMBINATION.

This IS the ultimate colour combination.

Traditional and old school, this combination can give life to any bridal outfit. These bridal outfit are on the list today because of how rich and wearable they are in a  host of festivities including wedding events and sangeet nights.

THE MODERN DAY BRIDE

Yes,we all love the traditional brides .But,we can also not deny how appealing these dresses look – a form of modern silhouettes in emerald green, peachy tones and pastel hues.

A beautiful fusion of two different cultures: East and West. While these dresses look imaginative and creative, they are definitely in line with the current trends.

A treat for the new, the fearless and the dynamic generation of strong women.

OUT OF THE BOX

These are gorgeous.

A fresh take on the bridal attire. You have seen enough of the lehenga designs,so now its time to see something out-of-the-box.I especially love the overcoat style. The style is not only great as a bridal outfit for ceremonies like mehendi or engagement but it is also great for other festivities.

What catches your attention in the jacket and the palazzo style is the extravagant embroidery both in the front and the back of the jacket and also the palazzo.

Again, a perfect dress for cocktail, mehendi or any other ceremony.

So,to all the brides-to-be and the ones who have already tasted the wedding madness, hope this blog was as much of a delight to your eyes as it was for me to write.

XOXO
